Last appointment taken 11pm daily - servicing the northern suburbs from Preston to Whittlesea and from Craigieburn to Templestowe. Standard massage prices are $1 per minute.
| Benefits of Massage One of the many benefits of massage is improving the circulation systems of the body. The pumping of blood through the body is done in two distinct ways. Oxygenated blood is pumped by the heart but once the cellular exchange has taken place in the capilliaries the blood is returned to the heart through the veins by the constriction of skeletal muscles throughout the body. In addition the muscles also pump the lymph through the lymphatic system which is the core of our immunity system plus the endocrine (hormones) system is also intertwined with the lymphatic system. |
Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) MLD is the most gentle of all types of massage as its purpose is to gently drain the lymph nodes and assist the body in ridding itself of unwanted toxins and fluid. MLD can be done over the whole body or one part of it but often it is confined to the back of the knees, the front of the legs, the groin, abdomen, axilla (the armpits), the chest (the terminus) and along the flank of the breasts plus the neck and head.
